No One Can Use The Truth

April 15, 2010

On the news, we saw the shocking story of a very rich man who would buy anything to win.  Is he honest or not?
I am not here to judge you, but why is there this trouble today?

If you are clean – that’s good.  But, if this man made mistakes, it’s time to change or he’s finished.
This very rich and powerful man has been accused of raping several underage girls.
He is so rich he can buy anything he wants.
But don’t forget that one day, no matter how rich you are, your money will mean nothing.  One day you will get old and sick.  You will wish to change when you know you will die soon.

The Spirit is not stupid.  When I decided to give everything away and help the poor, I was reminded that I had promised to give everything away... even the dollar in my pocket, because I ‘owed it.’

The Law is powerful here, sometimes.  But I knew a lawyer who I spoke with about a man who had killed someone.
“Shut up,” he said to me.  “I know nothing.  I’m here to make money.”
This man is a very powerful lawyer in Manitoba.

Why do things look worse today?  It is because the truth is more powerful than lying.  Honesty is so powerful that it looks like a dream, because no one can use the truth – not even Ottawa.
A new leader swears to be honest.  Again, on last night’s news, we saw an M.P. who had sworn to be honest, but the truth came out and he was finally fired.

So, is the Spirit of the Law strong when it demands that we “Swear to tell the truth.”?
“Swear to be clean!  Swear to be honest!  Swear to it!”
But still, they say, “Don’t be religious – just tell the truth.”

So I ask why people in Canada don’t believe anything.  Can you understand why they don’t?  People are saying, “I’m sick and tired of all the bullshit.  I hope that one day this country will be changed so that there is love and we would be all together.”
Only then would you recognize the gift because first ... you swear to tell the truth – which is good enough to change the world.
This Spirit says, “Don’t forget to be clean, or I will judge you.”
Is Canada ready to change or is it that the whole world will be judged to be clean?  This is not in a religious sense, but, when you swear ... it is good enough to change the world.

By the way, if you die today, are you ready?  Think about this.
