Many years ago I wrote to a bishop who is dead now. The Indian people were very close to me because they recognized I loved them from the heart. I told the bishop at that time, ‘We made mistakes, all of us. If you are truly with God then learn to talk to each other now or it will get worse.’
I remember talking to a lawyer who was a friend of the bishop. He said, ‘We decided it would cost this much and the hell with the rest!’ I told the bishop and the lawyer, ‘You are making a big mistake. It will get worse than in the past!’ Then they said, ‘To hell with you! Don’t bother us anymore!’
It is not good enough only to listen to the Indian people. If you say, ‘That’s good enough for ourselves just to listen’ – you are making a big mistake. I was here with Bishop Danylak from Toronto. He was praying together with the people at the Mass. An old nun came to see me in person. She said, ‘I can’t sleep anymore. Plus the Indian people are suing us. We’ll have no money anymore! Pray for me to change my life before I die!’
I remember saying to the nun, ‘You can’t sleep? Is it because it will cost you money or do you want to change?’ She said, ‘Yes, I wish to change my life! The other nuns gave us money (a dollar for each rat) and then after grinding them up into the food, we gave them to the Indian children to eat. Then we would start to laugh because they were eating rats.’
It is time Canada (it doesn’t matter where) and the whole world to be honest about what you did before in the past. It is not enough for the Indian people only to speak in order for everyone to learn.
That’s why today the Mass looks very empty and people don’t believe anymore. But today if Canada (and the whole world) was to be honest and say the Truth, you would become like a good priest then where people recognize you are like a father. Don’t only talk about the past and the people. Become saintly men and women here by being honest with God. If you do this together, you will cry together and you will truly become twins.
I am very happy that the bishop said this in his letter to the faithful of the Archdiocese of Saint Boniface, ‘Let people talk!’ But also the priests! Be honest with God. You made mistakes. That’s okay. It’s finished now. Thank God that it’s finished. But now become truly like fathers and mothers, priests and nuns. Recognize it is a Gift from God.
Even for me as a young boy in a Residential School, it was very tough. I’ll never forget. I used to be left-handed and they told me, ‘The devil is with you!’ I remember I asked the nun if I could go to the bathroom because I had to go ‘number two’. She said, ‘Stay there until after 4:00!’ I was so scared and soiled my pants, the chair, everything.
It is time that we recognize the Gift from God today – now! I say to you, the priests that if you are truly honest with what we write today I could say, ‘Congratulations priests, to change the world to find love!’ A true priest or nun makes people recognize who you are in Heaven, not for others to adore you but to be a true father or mother.
God is there with you, priests. Wake up by the Spirit! Forget the past but don’t hide anything. Find love for each other. Jesus was always with His best friends, the sinning people!
There was a Gift given to me. It was a true priest that made me find and believe in God. That was a Gift from the Spirit because the priest was very close to God and like Him. I say thank you for the priest. Because of him I recognized the Gift through love. Even though the priest became married later, I always believed in God…much more than was normal.
Let’s say ‘thank you’ to God for people to be clean finally and for being blessed to be with the priests or the bishops and the others who gave your lives to work for the whole world to find God. Even ourselves – we made mistakes, too, like sinning. But the priests continue to say, ‘Congratulations! You wish to change your life!’
It is time to recognize the Gift to change the world. I say thank you for the priests, bishops and nuns. You made mistakes but you continue with Me. It is time that priest or nun, you humble yourself and work for God. Make people find the Gift – that they recognize God through you, My priests.
What can I do today? Imagine – no priests anymore. Don’t forget something very beautiful. Years ago they wished to change their lives but imagine if there were no priests anymore. Why does God say, Become a priest, My son to teach people to recognize the Gift through love. I believe in you, My son to look like Me – two in one.
We will write something very beautiful today. Christmas - for the first time the wise men saw the star (because the Spirit works for you). Soon there will be a newborn to teach people to recognize My Gift, My love. I give My life for all of you. Recognize Who I am!
That’s why Jesus said, I know the end of the world will be soon. The end is now. I will go home Myself. I will make people recognize Who I am. God said, Teach the priests to continue with Me. Make people recognize My Gift through love.
Only My Spirit will guide you from Me – only by the Spirit. Understand you used to be weak in the past but listen for My Spirit. People will recognize God through you if you learn from the Spirit. Don’t adore yourself. Work forever.
True love is so sacred. Without talking at all people will recognize the Gift through love. You could talk all day but without feeling anything. And when you love from the heart, so sacred they will recognize you without talking at all.
It is time for the world to recognize the Gift by the pope, the bishops and the priests because you are the first ones. You gave your life to God first. That’s why you become like a father and mother. Serve each other for them to see your heart. The heart is so powerful you listen more from the heart than the mouth.
It is time to say thank you for the bishops. Why do I say ‘thank you’ when you made so many mistakes? You continue to be a priest. That means you are to be better every day. Blessed are you. Clean yourself and listen for the Spirit every day, forever.
A true priest will be with God. Recognize you are like a father. Congratulations. The future is yours because you wish to continue as a good priest. That’s better than to quit to marry. Blessed are you! Congratulations for the pope, the bishops, priests and nuns!
