Letter to the Commissioner of Elections CanadaJuly 30, 2009![]() Office of the Commissioner of Canada Elections July 30, 2009
Dear Sir or Madam, A few weeks ago, we sent a letter to the House of Commons. Since we have had no reply, it proves that the topic is not important at all to you. We desire Canada to become honest. We begin by reminding you that many years ago, English was the one official language in Canada. Finally a law was put in place to respect French as an official language too. Now both are equally respected. Now we are telling you, Canada, to prove to us that you are truly honest, regarding another matter. As a Political Party, we have a support base, but they are mostly poor. Your existing law is not clean. The poor can do nothing to be heard. They believe in us, but they can do nothing. They are too poor. It is time for Canada to recognize that it is impossible for the poor to make themselves heard. They believe in us and want us to go forward, but it is impossible for us to continue without money from those who support us in wanting to change the world. It’s like this: “I’m poor so I’m not allowed to help you... because I can’t find any money to give you.” I am waiting for a reply from you. If I hear nothing, I will challenge this law. We see that the poor are wasting their time with their votes. I wish to honestly represent the people. We must respect the poor, not just use their names as supporters but give them no power to make a change. They believe it is just a waste of time. What is the election law for if it doesn’t respect all the people? It is time for Canada to recognize, as with the English and the French languages issue, that there needs to be a law to regard the rich and the poor together. Democracy is not for the rich only. I am ready to meet with a judge if you do nothing to change this situation. It may be difficult to get a lawyer without money, but I am not worried. It is time for the poor to realize it is impossible for them. It is time for all of us to recognize love and to change Canada. The proof is now there for all of you. How many people believe that their vote will change the world, yet 85% of them are struggling to survive? Money is being wasted because the existing law means nothing. Either you have money or you are wasting your time. At least be honest and say, “You can’t vote – you’re too poor!” It is time to balance – time to be at least honest and realize that the poor are as important as the rich. Many are learning fascinating things from their hearts. It is why some believe in me, vote for me and recognize new ideas for changing Canada. But, if you are too poor.... well? I ask the Prime Minister and the Queen to be honest. To vote is sacred. Write back to us to work together to change the law. It must be like this: Those with money, let’s say, “the rich”, should be allowed to make a donation to a poor person, for the purpose of making a donation to any party. “The rich” person would be allowed to receive a receipt for income tax purposes for whatever purpose – giving to a charity, or giving to the poor. The poor person must be a qualified poor person, as recorded by Social Services. He would then be allowed to give his donation to whatever party he liked. Both the donor and recipient would need to submit proof of the transaction to Elections Canada. Only with this would we see honesty for the poor and the rich – and then continue to change the world. Finally the poor would become like the rich – their ideas would be good. They could finally become one with the others. I ask that such a law be enacted soon. Also, you are breaking the law in another way. You say that Canada is so powerful in the world now. People don’t believe this. You are not a majority government and you must work to survive. Don’t say that the law is fine now, just the way it is. You only represent a small part of Canada. The electoral law has to be judged by its worth regarding honesty. We stand to make sure that you enact a new law. If we have not heard from you by September, we will proceed through the courts with a judge. But I believe that one day, you will change the law, if you are honest. You must not only talk, but act.
Thank you,
Roger Poisson |
