I understand what you believe in, which is a very powerful gift... the desire to spend more time with children or your wife. It is sacred to want to spend more time with a family. But, if we begin to operate like welfare, without making more money, it will cost us more to support people. It is better for people to work than for us to give money for those who wish to do nothing.
When more people work together, it means that the society will benefit from more taxes. It is very beautiful for a family, or even a single person. You can plan to take a holiday, as part of your normal life. But we also don’t forget the people who are sick or can’t work. We have no problem helping those people out. We respect their needs.
It costs money to buy everything. We need to balance our money. If we work less, we have to be able to afford the change. It is smarter to work than not to work and still get paid for doing nothing.
It is time to realize why people are on welfare. Why are so many people on welfare? Is it because there is not enough work? We must learn to balance the work we do and the taxes we pay. We can all buy more if we work more, and have better holidays. This is better than to have to work all the time with no freedom. However, if you can work a little less and keep things balanced, this is a gift.
In general, more people need to work, and be happy so that less people are being supported through welfare.
