- Death of the Leader
- in case something should happen to Roger like sickness, surgery or death, we are to work together. Laurel has learned a lot about the Party and the political process. We must continue the work. Roger’s speech is a challenge for him.
Laurel is to become Leader of PPP Party should something to happen to Roger. Laurel agreed and was humbled. Eileen, Shirley, Laurel and Roger read the document stating such, concerning the leadership if something should happen to Roger. They all signed it.

- Financial update
- current finances - The bills for each month are about $900.00
- loans – there are 2 outstanding loans that the Party must pay off. One is to Roger for approx. $2000.00; one is to Laurel for approx $8000.00. The lenders have forgiven the loans but Elections Canada says we must pay them off. We can do this by not making contributions – Roger for the next 2 years and Laurel for the next 8 years.

B. Advisory Committee of Political Parties
a.) Feedback
- sent 01/09/09 regarding our views on changes to be made to the Canada Elections Act. We addressed current political financing rules and legislative improvements to be made therein.
- We communicated that the poor are wasting their time with their votes and that many have given up voting. The voter turnout in one of our ridings in the last election was 43% in the poorest area of Winnipeg.
- The poor are unable to make a political donation and have their voices heard
- Those with money, should be allowed to make a donation to a poor person, for the purpose of making a donation to any party. The donor would be allowed to receive a receipt for income tax
- The leader asked that this recommendation be brought forward quickly and enacted into Law before the next election, to ensure that all can participate equally.
- Feedback was faxed to all newspapers and television stations, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
b.) 11/09/09 Conference Call: Election Readiness – All Political Parties
- Recommendations were made by the PPP to have the poor more included at election time, regarding being able to make political donations. Not acknowledged by Elections Canada.
C. Media
a.) 18/09/09 Interview with Canadian Counter Culture Radio
D. Website
- 25/11/2009: Our French website was professionally translated. This was accomplished by a generous donation from a family from Hearst, Ontario.
- Fall, 2009: The PPP website got a brand new look. We’ve been told that it is the best political website in the world!
